Case study

Berkeley Homes

“Midcliff have always performed well for us”

Over 25 years, Berkeley has built a reputation for extremely well designed and constructed residential developments across London and the Home Counties. Projects frequently include leading edge innovation and renovating architectural heritage on the same site.

The Challenge

Members of Berkeley have known Midcliff for ten years. Although projects can be technically challenging, they have to go through a competitive tendering process to provide brickworks services.

Two recent projects, which were built simultaneously, were a 126 plot new build development on King Harry Lane, St Albans and a large-scale renovation of the Carmelite Monastery in Golders Green with the addition of premium homes within the grounds.

The St. Albans site was extremely crowded and so the materials required to build various large care homes, Key Worker Housing and private properties had to be delivered immediately before they were due to be used. There was only one access road into the monastery grounds so co-ordination was vital.
